Cambodia will receive 623 shares in the bank AIIB in Beijing

 The government will receive shares of about 623 companies out of a total of 1 million shares in the investment banking firm infrastructure Asia (AIIB) to the Beijing-based China.

This is the country's second overall in the establishment of a multilateral international financial institutions during the last 50 years after joining as a founding member in the creation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 1966.

On 13 January 2016, the full Assembly approved the draft law on the approval of the Agreement on the Establishment of infrastructure investment banking Asia (AIIB). This law, Chapter 60, Article 11, with 93 on 98 MPs raise OK.

Creating AIIB Bank has a total capital of 100 Tri-million divided into 1 million shares in the capital in Asia accounted for 75% and outside the Asian region accounted for 25%. The government has decided to invest 623 shares, equivalent to 62.3 million US dollars to 0.0635% of the total share capital and the total voting rights in accordance with the bank's needs.

The agreement on the establishment of the Asian investment banking infrastructure was founding the Royal Government of Cambodia signed as at June 29, 2015 in Beijing of China with the participation of delegates representing 57 countries.
